Two cattle traders were killed as the vehicle carrying them and their cows collided head on with a pickup van on Nilphamari-Syedpur road at Kazirhat under Syedpur Upazila in Nilphamari on Sunday night.
The deceased traders are Hemanto Ray, 40, and Meher Kumar, 45, UNB reported.
Officer-in-charge of Syedpur Sadar Police Station Shahjahan Pasha the accident took place at around 8:30pm, leaving the two dead on the spot.
