State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Junaid Ahmed Palak has express his hope that the government is working to earn $6.0 billion from IT sector of the country by 2025.
“Currently, the country earns $1.0 billion through ICT sector. The government is working with a target of earning another five billion dollar by 2025,” he said.
The state minister came up with the expectation while addressing a programme in Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon, reports BSS.
He said it is possible to keep the country green by providing homemade world class digital devices to the students at affordable price and protect the environment from the pollution of e-waste through proper management.
