Global Islami Bank launches special mudarabah savings account Ehsan

Global Islami Bank has launched a special mudarabah savings account named ‘Ehsan’ to bring marginalised communities of the country under banking scope.

Md. Abul Bashar, executive director, financial inclusion department of the bank, was present at the launching ceremony as the chief guest.

Syed Habib Hasnat, managing director of Global Islami Bank, presided over the programme held at a convention hall in Dhaka, says a media release.

Additional Managing Directors Md. Golam Sarwar, and Kazi Mashiur Rahman Jayhad, Deputy Managing Director Sami Karim, head of investment S. M. Mizanur Rahman, divisional heads, branch managers and Ehsan account holders of different branches were also present at the function.
