Hackers posted videos promoting cryptocurrency developed by US-based Ripple Labs by illegally accessing the official YouTube channel of India’s Supreme Court on Friday.
Indian news portals said the hacked channel was found showcasing unauthorised content related to cryptocurrency instead of court proceedings.
The apex court of India has been using the channel for live streaming of significant cases before the Constitution Benches and other matters of public interest since 2018.
