Arsenal boss Unai Emery has said that he did not know what will happen over the future of the club's 27-year-old Welsh International Aaron Ramsey.

Ramsey joined Arsenal from Cardiff City as a 17-year-old and has spent all of his career at the North London club, but his contract expires at the end of the current campaign and after the collapse of talks over a new contract has so far to pen a new deal, reports Xinhua.

The possibility that Ramsey could leave for nothing in the summer has led to speculation that Arsenal will at least try and earn some money by trying to sell him in January, although Emery was not willing to discuss the issue.

"For me January is very far, I'm thinking Monday first and I want every player staying with the mentality and the preparation for playing together to win."

"My focus is every single match. The future is tomorrow, no more. I want the mentality for the next match, individual things are not for me to speak on now," Emery said on Thursday.

Arsenal will face Leicester City on Monday night as they look to extend their winning run to 10 games and Emery said he expected Ramsey to "focus to help us like another player, no different."

The Spaniard also refused to get carried away by his side's results, which came after they kicked off the season with defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea.

"This is one process to work every day... We need to continue improving and creating in our way. For each minute, each ball, every meter in the 90 minutes, we have to show every supporter we want to win and with every action showing this mentality," he concluded.
