Bangladesh eliminated from SAFF Suzuki Cup

Visiting Nepal eliminated Bangladesh from the SAFF Suzuki Cup 2018, beating the hosts by 2-0 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on Saturday.

With the victory in the final match of Group A, the Himalayan nation qualified for the semi-final of the seven-nation tournament, reports UNB.

The maiden goal of the match from Midfielder Bimal Gharti Magar in the 33rd minute of the match took Nepal on the recovery road in the tournament.

Moreover, the second goal from Nepal came in the dying embers of match at 90 minutes with a goal from substitute Nawayug Shrestha.
