Bangladesh got off to a nightmarish start scoring 10/2 in five overs in the first match of Asia Cup 2018 against Sri Lanka at Dubai on Saturday.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, the Tigers found themselves in the back foot in the very first over, losing opener Liton Das for nought with one run on the board.

Start all rounder Shakib Al Hasan, promoting him to number three, came and went without troubling the scorers.

To add insult to injury, Tamim Iqbal retired hurt for three with a wrist injury.

Mushfiqur Rahim and M Mithun were at the crease with 4 and 2 runs respectively till the filing of this report.

Lasith Malinga took both wickets for the Lankans.
