Bangladesh have won the toss and chosen to bowl first in the first T20 encounter against Pakistan of the three-match series in Dhaka.

Fresh off a maiden series win in Sri Lanka, Litton Das and his men hope to carry the momentum against Pakistan on home soil at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.

The visitors are 19-3 ahead head-to-head against the Tigers in T20s, with the recent whitewash coming just before the Sri Lanka series.

Tanzid Hasan, Shamim Hossain and Litton contributed to the series win against the Islanders but will face a tough challenge against an imposing Pakistan bowling attack.

Pakistan are also enjoying a winning streak in the shortest format of the game, as Salman Ali Agha and his team whitewashed Tigers.

Bangladesh’s Asian rivals made six changes to the previous squad as Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf are out due to injuries.

Pakistan’s plan for the match is “to be fearless without being careless”, skipper Salman was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo.

Meanwhile the Tigers skipper believes it will be an "even game".
