Bangladesh to play 3rd T20I against UAE in Sharjah as boards agree to extend series

The Bangladesh and Emirates cricket boards have agreed to add a third T20I match midway through the Tigers’ ongoing tour of the United Arab Emirates.

The last game of the trip is slated for May 21, UAE Cricket said in a statement on Monday.

“The third T20I has been added to the schedule following discussion between the Emirates Cricket Board and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The third match will also begin at 7pm local time.

“Ticket prices for the third game will be the same as the first two, the tickets will be available at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium Box Office,” it added.

The Tigers won the first game of the series by 27 runs, thanks to a dazzling 54-ball century by Parvez Hossain Emon, featuring a record 9 sixes.

The second T20 will begin at 7pm local time (9pm Bangladesh time) at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Monday.
