Opener Saif Hassan has returned as Bangladesh opted to bowl first in the opening T20 against the Netherlands.
The hosts, buoyed by recent series wins in Sri Lanka and against Pakistan, have left out Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mohammad Naim at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
The Netherlands, missing key players like Bas de Leede, Roelof van der Merwe, and Michael Levitt due to injuries and personal reasons, feature debutant Cedric de Lange and returnees Sebastiaan Braat and Sikander Zulfiqar.
Rain is on the cards in Sylhet as both teams aim for an early series lead.
The match is a rehearsal for the Tigers before the Asia Cup in 10 days, and the Netherlands a chance to build on their World Cup qualification.
