Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan has returned to Dhaka along with wicketkeeper-batter Mushfiqur Rahim, local news portals said on Sunday.
The reports said they will join the national cricket team in Sri Lanka on September 13 ahead of their Asia Cup match against India September 15.
Mushfiq returned home due to a family emergency after Bangladesh’s match against Sri Lanka on Saturday. However, the reports did not provide the reason behind Shakib’s return.
