England decide to field against Pakistan

Hosts England won the toss and decided to field in their second match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 against Pakistan at Trent Bridge in Nottingham on Monday.

England started their World Cup campaign beating South Africa in the opening match on May 30 at The Oval in London, reports UNB.

England made one change in their playing eleven. Fast bowler Chris Woakes joined the squad replacing another fast bowler Liam Plunkett left out.

Pakistan, who were hammered by West Indies in their opening match of the event at the same venue on May 31, also made two changes in their playing eleven.

Shoaib Malik and Asif Ali joined squad while Haris Sohail and Imad Wasim have been excluded.
