In a thrilling Ligue 1 encounter at the Parc des Princes on Friday, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) faced their first loss of the season, falling 3-2 to a determined Nice side, with Terem Moffi starring for the visitors by scoring twice. Kylian Mbappe's brace was not enough to secure victory for the reigning French champions.

The match took an unexpected turn midway through the first half when PSG's star striker, Kylian Mbappe, made a costly mistake, leading to Nice taking the lead. Terem Moffi capitalized on the error, netting the opener. However, Mbappe quickly made amends, levelling the score at 1-1 thirty minutes into the game.

The second half saw Gaetan Laborde restore Nice's lead just eight minutes in, leaving PSG stunned. Terem Moffi continued to shine, adding another goal to his tally, putting the visitors ahead by two goals.
Mbappe's impressive volley provided PSG with a glimmer of hope, but Nice managed to hold on for the historic win.

As a result of this loss, PSG, led by coach Luis Enrique, slipped to third place in the early Ligue 1 table with eight points from five games, one point behind the undefeated Nice, who have enjoyed a resurgence after a disappointing previous season.

Reflecting on the defeat, Luis Enrique commented, "Throughout the match, they were fresher than us. Obviously, a defeat hurts, we all have to improve, myself included. But I liked our state of mind."

Nice coach Francesco Farioli praised his team's performance, saying, "Beyond the tactical aspects, I saw a team of warriors."

Before the game, the Parc des Princes paid tribute to Marco Verratti, who left PSG after an 11-year tenure to join Qatari club Al-Arabi. Verratti made 416 appearances for PSG, winning numerous domestic titles but falling short of a coveted Champions League triumph.
