Former football players and organisers have given the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) President Kazi Salahuddin a 24-hour deadline to resign.
They threatened that if he does not resign within this period, he will be declared persona non-grata in the sports arena.
The former footballers and organizers gave the ultimatum at a human chain in front of the BFF building in the Motijheel area of Dhaka on Saturday, according to media reports.
BNP's Central Leader and Bangladesh Athletics Federation former president Abdus Salam, BNP Central Sports Secretary and former captain of the national football team Aminul Haque, former goalkeeper Sayeed Hassan Kanan, Rumman Bin Wali Sabbir, and other former footballers participated in the human chain.
