A legal notice has been sent to remove Shakib Al Hasan from the national team and bring him back to the country. The legal notice was sent to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) authorities.

Supreme Court lawyer Barrister Sajeeb Mahmud Alam sent the notice on Saturday, according to local media reports.

In the notice, Sajeeb Mahmud Alam said that Shakib Al Hasan cannot be in the national cricket team as a criminal case has been filed against him. He should be removed from the cricket team immediately.

For the murder of garment worker Rubel during the anti-discrimination student movement, a case has been filed against 500 people, including 156 people, including former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, Sheikh Rehana, and Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader.

The former captain of the Bangladesh team has been made accused number 28 in the case.

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is now with the national team. He is in the Bangladesh XI for the first match of the two-match Test series against Pakistan in Rawalpindi. He did not return to the country from Canada and went directly to Pakistan and joined the team.
