Namibia secure a historic win beating Scotland by 5 wickets. Winning a game in the Super 12 in their first-ever World Cup campaign is the biggest achievement in the country's cricketing history.

Batting first, Scotland didn't seem like the team which topped the group in the qualifiers. They could only gather 109 runs, thanks to a flashy 44(27) from Michael Leask.

Chris greaves also put a contribution of 25(32). Rubel Trumplemann crippled the Scottish batting lineup with 3 wickets for 17 runs. Jay Frylinck also took 2 for 10.

In response, Namibia started professionally being 50/1 at one stage. Then they lost 3 wickets in quick succession within 67 runs.

David Wiese and JJ Smit then steadied the ship with their partnership of 35 runs that took Namibia to the finishing line. Leask starred for Scotland in bowling as well with 2 for 12.

Ruben Trumpelmann became the Player of the Match for his clinical bowling performance.
