Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly offered his services to Paris St-Germain in an attempt to play alongside Lionel Messi, after saying he wants to leave Manchester United, according to BBC.

But PSG have turned down the chance of signing Cristiano as they do not have enough space on their wage bill to pay him, the BBC reported citing ESPN.

Last week, Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn also rejected the idea of a potential move for the Portuguese great, stating that a deal for the 37-year-old would not "fit with our philosophy."
