Sri Lanka opt to bat first in the last match

In the last game of the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka won the toss opted to bat first on Wednesday at R. Premadasa Cricket Stadium in Colombo.

Bangladesh lost both of the first two matches of the series. So today’s game came as a chance for the hosts to register a clean-sweep. However, Bangladesh’s interim captain Tamim Iqbal said they are up to destroy the party of Sri Lanka, reports UNB.

Bangladesh overlooked Mosaddek Hossain for this match and field Anamul Haque Bijoy for the first time in this series. They also replaced Mustafizur Rahman with Rubel Hossain.
