Tigers to bat against Proteas after losing toss

The Tigers have lost the toss against South Africa and have been sent to bat in their first match in the World Cup at the Kennington Oval in London today (Sunday).

Bangladesh's star opener Tamim Iqbal who had an injury scare on Thursday is fit to play, skipper Mashrafe Mortaza confirmed after the toss.  

Bangladesh XI: Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim (wkt), Mohammad Mithun, Mahmudullah, Mosaddek Hossain, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mehedi Hasan, Mashrafe Mortaza (capt), Mustafizur Rahman.

South Africa XI: Quinton de Kock (wkt), Aiden Markram, Faf du Plessis (capt), Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, JP Duminy, Andile Phehlukwayo, Chris Morris, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, Imran Tahir.
