Zimbabwe win first ODI series against Bangladesh after 2013

Zimbabwe have won a three-match one-day international (ODI) series against Bangladesh as they got a five-wicket victory in the second match at Harare Sports Club on Sunday.

For Zimbabwe, this is the first ODI-series win against Bangladesh after 2013.

Zimbabwe captain Regis Chakabva won the toss and sent Bangladesh in batting. The visitors managed to score 290 runs in 50 overs losing nine wickets.

Chasing a 291-run target, the hosts scored 291 in 47.3 overs for the loss of five wickets.

Zimbabwe also won the first match of the series, snapping their 19-match losing streak against Bangladesh.

The last match of the series is scheduled to take place at Harare Sports Club on August 10 at 1:15 pm (Zimbabwe time).
