12 listed companies to hold AGMs by April 30

Some 12 listed companies, including three banks, will hold Annual General Meetings (AGMs) between April 17 and April 30.

The recommended dividends, audited financial statements of these companies for the year which ended on December 31, 2017 are expected to be approved at their respective AGM.

According to information from the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the AGM of BATBC will be held on April 17 at Ball Room of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.

The board of directors of the company has recommended 600 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2017.

The AGM of RAK Ceramic will be held on April 18. The board of directors of the company has recommended 10 per cent cash and 10 per cent stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2017.

Grameenphone (GP) will hold AGM on April 19. The board of directors of the lone listed mobile phone company has recommended 100 per cent final cash dividend (total 205 per cent cash dividend for the year 2017 inclusive of 105 per cent interim cash dividend which has already been paid) for the year ended on December 31, 2017.

The AGM of Glaxo SmithKline will be held on April 19 at Radisson Blu Chittagong Bay view, Chittagong. The board of directors of the multinational company has recommended 550 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2017.

Delta Brac Housing Finance Corporation will hold AGM on April 19 instead of earlier declared date April 26, 2018 at “Delta Life Conference Hall”, Delta Life Tower. The board of directors of the company has recommended 30 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2017.

The AGM of Islamic Finance & Investment will be held on April 25. The board of directors of the company has recommended 14.50 per cent cash dividend for the year ended December 31, 2017.

United Finance will hold AGM on April 26. The board of directors of the company has recommended 10 per cent cash and 5.0 per cent stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2017.

The AGM of Linde Bangladesh will be held on April 26. The board of directors of the company has recommended 140 per cent final cash dividend (total 340 per cent cash dividend for the year 2017 inclusive of 200 per cent interim cash dividend which has already been paid) for the year ended on December 31, 2017.

BRAC Bank will hold AGM on April 26. The board of directors of the bank has recommended 25 per cent stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2017.

United Commercial Bank will hold AGM on April 30. The board of directors of the bank has recommended 10 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2017.

The AGM of Mercantile Bank will be held on April 30. The board of directors of the bank has recommended 17 per cent cash and 5.0 per cent stock dividend for the year ended December 31, 2017.
