Md Altaf Hossain, Deputy Managing Director of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited, has been promoted to Additional Managing Director.
Previously, he served as Head of Investment Management Wing, Dhaka Central Zone, Corporate Investment Division-II and SME Investment Division-II of the bank, said a press release.
He started off his banking career in 2004 as Vice President of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited. Earlier, he worked in various local and multi-national companies. He held important positions in BRAC, MIDAS, SEDF and Grameen Fund.
He obtained MBA degree from the Institute of Business Administration, Dhaka University.
