Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Association (BMBA) held its 13th annual general meeting (AGM) on Saturday at FARS Hotel & Resorts in Dhaka.
The meeting was presided over by Mr. Mohammed Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, President of the Association.
Secretary-General Mr. Khairul Bashar Abu Taher Mohammed, Treasurer Mr. Md. Riyad Matin, other members of the Executive Committee and the General Body of the Association were present at the meeting, said a statement.
The president and executive committee members briefed on the roles and activities performed by the association during 2017 and also delivered their speech on future scope of work for the development of the association and the capital market.
The President of BMBA also conveyed that the Association always works sincerely to promote and protect the interest of the stock market.
In an open discussion, members have discussed on the present capital market scenario. BMBA leaders sought cooperation of all members and stakeholders to establish a dynamic and vibrant capital market.
