The board of directors of BRAC Bank Limited has approved 15 per cent stock dividend for the year 2018.
The final approval of the dividend came during the 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the bank held at BRAC-CDM, Savar today (Tuesday), according to a media release.
Chaired by Sir Fazle Hasan Abed, KCMG, Chairman of BRAC Bank Limited, the meeting was attended by Directors Shib Narayan Kairy, Nihad Kabir, Kaiser Kabir, Fahima Choudhury, and Asif Saleh, Managing Director and CEO Selim R F Hussain, Company Secretary Rais Uddin Ahmad and other shareholders.
The bank’s consolidated net profit stood at Tk 5.67 billion for the year ended on December 31, 2018 as against Tk 5.49 billion in the previous year, registering a growth of 3.1 per cent, the chairman of the bank informed the shareholders at the AGM.
The bank has also reported consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 5.17 for the year ended on December 31, 2018 as against Tk 4.86 in the previous year.
The consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share stood at Tk 32.87 for the year ended on December 31, 2018 as against Tk 24.80 in the previous year.
