Chairman of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) Dr Hafiz Md Hasan Babu has resigned from his post.
He has sent his resignation letter through an email to the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), according to local media reports.
Dr Hafiz Md Hasan Babu submitted the resignation letter in the early hours of Monday citing personal reasons.
On March 5, 2023, Dr Hafiz was elected the new chairman of the DSE in its 1054th board meeting.
