The board of directors of Eastern Bank Ltd. (EBL) has recommended 25 per cent dividend for the year 2023 ended on December 31.
The dividend will distribute 12.5 per cent cash dividend and 12.5 per cent stock dividend for its shareholders.
The final approval of the dividend will come during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled to be held at 11:00 am on April 29, 2024, said an official disclosure on Monday.
The record date for entitlement of dividend is April 2 this year.
The bank has also reported consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 5.07, consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share of Tk 33.57 and consolidated net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of Tk 7.91 for the year ended on December 31, 2023 as against Tk 4.24, Tk 29.62, and Tk 10.30 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
