Korean Export Processing Zone (KEPZ) Corporation (BD) Ltd, a subsidiary of Youngone Corporation, has officially opened the 100-bed KEPZ Trust Hospital at Anwara in Chattogram.
Kihak Sung, Chairman and CEO of Youngone and KEPZ Corporation, inaugurated the hospital as the chief guest on Saturday.
The inaugural ceremony was moderated by Lt Col (Retd) Md Shahjahan, Managing Director of KEPZ.
Former ambassador Farooq Sobhan, General Manager of Yonsei University Health Department Kang Yong Lee, and Vice Chancellor of Chittagong Medical University Dr Omar Farooq Yusuf were present as guests of honour.
In his speech, Kihak Sung emphasized that the new hospital would provide quality medical services to KEPZ workers, employees, and their families.
He said, "Yonsei University Hospital in Korea has been at the forefront of Korean healthcare and quality for many years. The KEPZ Trust Hospital will be managed under the supervision of Yonsei University Hospital."
