LankaBangla Finance wins Mastercard Excellence Awards in two categories

LankaBangla Finance PLC has received awards for excellence in the categories of ‘Mastercard Contactless (Issuing)’ and ‘Mastercard Credit Business (Domestic)’ at the Mastercard Excellence Awards 2023, says a press release Monday.

Khwaja Shahriar, managing director CEO of LankaBangla Finance PLC has received the awards from Dr Atiur Rahman, former governor of Bangladesh Bank. 

LaFave, charge d'affaires at the US Embassy; Md Sharafat Ullah Khan, director of Payment Systems Department at Bangladesh Bank; Md Motasem Billah, director of Payment Systems Department at Bangladesh Bank; and Md Sarwar Hossain, director of Foreign Exchange Policy Department at Bangladesh Bank were present on the occasion. 

From LankaBangla Finance PLC - Khurshed Alam, SEVP and head of Retail Business; Sheik Mohammad Fuad, SVP and head of ICT; Md Toufiquer Rahman, SAVP and head of Cards (Acting) and Syed Mohammad Kamal, country manager, Bangladesh, Mastercard, along with other senior officials and dignitaries from partner banks, fintech, and merchants' partners of Mastercard attended the programme.
