Premier Bank secures Tk 11.44b in fresh deposits in 26 workdays

The Premier Bank has mobilised Tk 11.44 billion in fresh deposits within 26 working days since April 1 this year under its "Deposit & Recovery Campaign 2026", according to a press release.

The bank also reported around Tk 5,23 billion in cash recovery between January and April 2026.

The performance was disclosed at a special virtual meeting held Thursday morning at the bank's head office, with all employees participating online. The meeting was attended by Chairman Dr Arifur Rahman, Managing Director Md Monzur Mofiz, deputy managing directors Niamat Uddin Ahmed, Amalendu Roy, S M Wali Ul Morshed, Mohammad Al-Amin, and other senior officials.

During the meeting, management reviewed the progress of the ongoing campaign and broader business indicators. Officials highlighted customer service strengthening, deposit mobilisation initiatives, and coordinated efforts across branches and divisions as key factors behind the results.
