Runner Motors Limited has launched several new models of commercial vehicles, marking a significant milestone in the transport sector in Bangladesh.
The company introduced six commercial vehicle models of the Eicher Pro 2000 and 6000 series, incorporating cutting-edge technology.
According to Runner officials, these vehicles are set to revolutionise the automobile and communication systems in the country.
The launching event took place at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka on Thursday.
Hafizur Rahman Khan, chairman of Runner Group, and Shantanu Srivastava, Regional Head of Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicle for Bangladesh, South Asia and ASEAN countries, were present at the programme.
Runner Group Vice-chairman Mozammel Hossain along with senior officials from Eicher and Runner was also in attendance.
At the event, Runner Motors senior general manager Feroz Kabir provided detailed information about the newly launched vehicles.
He emphasised that Runner Motors was dedicated to making a significant contribution to the country's economy while transforming the transport sector.
Runner Group offers a wide range of products, catering to multiple needs with a strong emphasis on meeting customers' demands and requirements.
"We outperform our competitors significantly in both fuel efficiency and maintenance within the country," stated Runner Group chairman Hafizur Rahman Khan.
"We dominate the market with a 70 to 75-per cent share in the truck industry," he asserted.
Mr Khan further said that the new vehicle series marked the beginning of a journey that would significantly impact the country's economy and enhance the transport and communication sectors.
