Ten most-traded cos grab 30pc of DSE transaction

Ten most-traded firms grabbed 30 per cent transaction of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) Sunday while National Life Insurance Company topped the chart.

National Life Insurance dominated the turnover chart as investors remained active on its shares amid dividend expectations as the company is likely to declare dividend ahead for the year ended on December 31, 2018.

According to statistics from the DSE, with 788,355 shares of National Life Insurance were traded on Sunday, generating a turnover of Tk 188 million, which was 6.17 per cent of the DSE's total turnover.

The total turnover on the DSE stood at Tk 3.04 billion on Sunday which was Tk 4.25 billion in the previous session.
