New Zealand shares slip; health care stocks dip

Health care stocks led the decline of New Zealand shares on Tuesday, while the benchmark S&P/NZX 50 index dipped 0.4 per cent or 28.619 points to 8,061.190.

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Ltd slumped 4.7 per cent despite reporting a 4.0 per cent rise in half year net profit after tax, reports Reuters.

Meanwhile, shares of dairy firm Fonterra Co-Operative Group Ltd, rose 0.3 per cent after it said its milk production in New Zealand rose 3.0 per cent during the peak production month of October due to the return of favourable weather after a wet spring.
