The 18th annual general meeting (AGM) of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited was held at RAOWA Convention Hall-1 in Dhaka on Thursday, with Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank Akkas Uddin Mollah in the chair, said a statement.
The meeting approved 10 per cent stock dividend, the directors' report and audited balance sheet and the profit & loss account for the year ended on December 31, 2018. Chairman of the bank Akkas Uddin Mollah and Managing Director & CEO M Shahidul Islam delivered speeches at the meeting.
Vice-Chairmen of the Board Mohammed Golam Quddus and Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Directors Dr. Anwer Hossain Khan, Md Sanaullah Shahid, Md Harun Miah, Abdul Halim, Mohiuddin Ahmed, Md Towhidur Rahman, AK Azad, Mohammed Younus, Khorshed Alam Khan, Md Moshiur Rahman Chamak, Tahera Faruque, Independent Directors Farida Parvin Nuru and Ekramul Haque attended the meeting.
