131st meeting of Exim Bank Shari’ah Supervisory Committee held

The 131st Shari’ah Supervisory Committee meeting of Exim Bank held on Thursday (May 08) in the board room of the bank’s head office.

Chairman of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of the bank Professor Dr. Abu Noman Md. Rofikur Rahman presided over the meeting, according to a media release.

Member of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of Exim Bank Maulana Mohammad Sadekul Islam, Professor Dr. H. M. Shahidul Islam Barakati, Hafez Maulana Mufti Mohammad Khairullah, Mohammad Abdur Razzak, Members of the Board of Directors of the Bank Md. Nurul Amin Faruk, Independent Director SM Rezaul Karim, Managing Director (Current Charge) M Akhter Hossain, Additional Managing Director Abdul Aziz (Zumma) and Senior Vice President & Head of Shari’ah Secretariat Mohammad Zulkernine were also present in the meeting.

In the meeting various decisions were taken by discussing in detail the issues related to Shari’ah compliance of overall activities of the bank.
