The 16th Dhaka International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition began at Basundhara International Convention Centre (BICC) in the capital on Wednesday.
FBCCI president Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin inaugurated the fair.
Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) and Hong Kong's Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Company Ltd, are jointly organizing the four-day exhibition.
About 1,200 machinery manufacturing organisations from 37 countries, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Brazil, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the UK, the UAE and the USA are participating in the exhibition, reports UNB.
The exhibition will remain open for all from 12:00 noon to 8:00pm until January 12.
