31 Bangladeshi companies to join German fair
The largest global consumer goods show to begin February 9 in Frankfurt

Some 31 Bangladeshi companies are going to showcase products at the leading global consumer goods show, Ambiente 2018, to be held in Frankfurt of Germany.
More than 4000 exhibitors from over 90 countries are expected to be presenting trends and innovations for the coming business season in the trade fair, set to begin on Friday.
The event will continue until February 13.
The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) will also join the five day fair, according to a statement issues by Messe Frankfurt, the organiser of this global trade show.
The local companies are : Artisan Ceramics Limited, Ask Handicrafts, BD Creation Limited, Bengal Polymer Wares Limited, Conexpo, Creation (Pvt) Limited, Dhaka Handicrafts, FARR Ceramics, Golden Jute Products, Jute Land Bangladesh, Monno Ceramics, Paragon Ceramics, Peoples Ceramics, Protik Ceramics, RFL Plastics, Saidpur Enterprises, SAN Trade, Shinepukur Ceramics and Usha Handicrafts.
Asix BD, Comilla traders, Corr – The Jute Works, JERMATZ LTD, Jute Diversification and Co, Natural Handicrafts, Onus Handicrafts, Prokritee, Sachatan Handicrafts, Simura Non-Wovens, Sonali Aansh, Tarango will join under EPB.
They will showcase products covering interior decoration items, jute baskets and products, kitchen accessories including ceramics and porcelain products, handicrafts, leather and other consumer products.
Ambiente 2018 will present unique spectrum of products for the table, kitchen and housewares, gift and decorative articles and interior design concepts and furnishing accessories, the organiser said.
137,000 buyers from 143 countries attended the 2017 trade fair for the consumer–goods, the statement said.
