46th meeting of Shari`ah Supervisory Committee of Standard Bank held

The 46^th meeting of the Shari`ah Supervisory Committee of Standard Bank PLC was held on 28 October 2024 at the bank’s Boardroom, Head Office, Dhaka.

In the presence of Mohammed Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the bank & Observer of the committee and A K M Abdul Alim, Director of the bank & Observer of the committee; Dr. Muhammad Saifullah, Chairman of Shari`ah Supervisory Committee presided over the meeting, according to a media release. 

The meeting was attended by Fariduddin Ahmed, Member; Dr. Mohammad Monzur-E-Elahi, Member; Prof. Dr. Hafiz Muztaba Riza Ahmed, Member; Prof. Dr. Zubair Ehsan Hoque, Member; and Md. Habibur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of the bank. Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director & Company Secretary (Acting) and Md. Ali Reza FCMA, CIPA, EVP & CFO of the bank were also present at the meeting.
