8th meeting of newly formed risk management committee of Union Bank held

The 8th meeting of the newly formed Risk Management Committee of Union Bank PLC was held at the bank’s head office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka, on 17 April, 2025.

Chairman of the Risk Management Committee Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir presided over the meeting, according to a press release.

Member of the Risk Management Committee and Independent Director Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam Zahid and Managing Director and CEO of the bank Mr. Mohd. Humayun Kabir were present at the meeting.

Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Shafiuddin Ahmed, Mr.Md. Jahangir Alam, and Mr. Mohammad Iqbal attended the meeting on the occasion.

In the meeting, bank risk-related issues were discussed in detail, and the bank management was advised to take appropriate steps to reduce the amount of risk.
