A K M Sazzad Hossain appointed Deputy Managing Director at Grameen Bank

A K M Sazzad Hossain has been appointed as the Deputy Managing Director of Grameen Bank. Previously, he served as a Director at the non-governmental organization ASA.

In addition, he held leadership positions in various programs under BRAC and BRAC International’s Microfinance Program, according to a press release. 

In 2005, Sazzad Hossain began his career in the field of Information Technology after obtaining a degree in Computer Science from North South University. He also completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Finance from the University of Dhaka.

Sazzad Hossain has over 16 years of professional experience in the field of microfinance, working across Asia and Africa. He has expressed a strong commitment to poverty alleviation and national development, and aims to enhance Grameen Bank’s contributions to these goals through his new leadership role, the release adds.
