ACI Marine & Riverine Technologies signs agreement with Khulna Shipyard

ACI Marine & Riverine Technologies Ltd, a concern of leading conglomerate ACI Limited, has signed an agreement with Khulna Shipyard Limited, one of the largest shipyards in Bangladesh, for the supply of Mitsubishi Marine Engines.

The contract signing ceremony, held recently at the office of Khulna Shipyard Ltd, marked a milestone in the mutual collaboration between ACI and Khulna Shipyard. Under the terms of the agreement, Khulna Shipyard Ltd will procure two units of Mitsubishi Marine Engine and two units of Marine Gearbox. These engines will deliver power to a survey vessel which is owned by Payra Port Authority, according to a press release Wednesday.

Subrata Ranjan Das, Executive Director, ACI Motors Ltd along with other higher officials of the company and Cdre Md Abdul Latif (L), ndc, psc, BN, Managing Director, Capt Md Julhash Uddin Ahmed, (E), psc, BN, General Manager (Design and Planning), Debabrata Mondal, Deputy Chief Engineer and other higher officials of Khulna Shipyard Ltd attended the signing ceremony.

The agreement between ACI Marine and Khulna Shipyard Ltd signifies a notable step forward in Bangladesh's maritime industry, fostering technological advancement and collaboration. With the integration of Mitsubishi Marine Engine, Khulna Shipyard is poised to enhance its capabilities and strengthen its position in Bangladesh maritime market.
