ADN Telecom Limited conducts 22nd Annual General Meeting

ADN Telecom Limited successfully conducted its 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Lakeshore Hotel, Dhaka.

This year’s AGM was held in a hybrid format, allowing shareholders to participate both in person and virtually through a dedicated online portal, according to a media release. 

The meeting was presided over by Mr. Asif Mahmood, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Also present were Directors Mr. Md. Moinul Islam, Mr. Md. Mahfuz Ali Sohail, Independent Directors Mr. Md. Maruf and Mr. Deedarul Huq Khan, Managing Director Mr. Henry Hilton and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Mohammad Nazim Uddin, FCA.

The proceedings were conducted by Company Secretary Mr. Md. Monir Hossain, FCS, while the Managing Director delivered the welcome address.

The AGM included a detailed review of the company’s operational activities and the audited financial statements for the fiscal year 2024–25. During the discussion, the Chairman, Managing Director, and Chief Financial Officer responded to shareholders’ queries and shared insights into the company’s overall performance and strategic direction.

Chairman Mr. Asif Mahmood highlighted the company’s significant profit growth during the year, which enabled the declaration of an attractive cash dividend.

He expressed confidence in ADN Telecom’s continued profitability and reaffirmed its commitment to maximizing shareholder value in the years ahead.

The meeting witnessed active engagement from shareholders, well-wishers, and senior officials, both physically and virtually. Shareholders expressed appreciation for the company’s initiatives and offered constructive suggestions for further growth.Key agenda items—including the approval of the audited financial statements for 2024–25and the declaration of a10% cash dividend—were unanimously approved by the shareholders.

In his closing remarks, Company Secretary Mr. Md. Monir Hossain, FCS extended heartfelt thanks to all shareholders, stakeholders, regulatory authorities, well-wishers, and guests for their participation and continued support, which contributed to the successful conclusion of the AGM, the release adds.
