Al-Arafah Islami Bank (AIB) PLC has opened its 226th branch at Habiganj on Monday, 7 October 2024.
Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Farman R. Chowdhury inaugurated the new branch as chief guest, according to a media release.
Deputy Managing Director Md. Aminul Islam Bhuiyan gave a welcome speech on the occasion.
Senior Executive Vice President of the Bank Engr. Md Habib Ullah, Muhtamim of Umed Nagar Madrasa Mowlana Tahfimul Haque, Professor of Aleya Zahir College Partho Pratim Das and respectable depositor Md. Ashraf Ali Khan spoke at the branch opening ceremony.
Sylhet Zonal Head and Senior Executive Vice President Abdur Rahim Duary presided over the ceremony. Executive Vice President and Head of PR Jalal Ahmed conducted the ceremony. A large number of local people and well-wishers were present in the inauguration ceremony.
Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Farman R. Chowdhury stated that socio-economic development is possible along with halal business management through the Islamic Banking System.
