Bangladesh’s leading business conglomerate AKIJ Resource on Wednesday launched career portal 'nextjobz' (nextjobz.com.bd).
Sheikh Jasim Uddin, managing director of AKIJ Resource, inaugurated the portal at a function held at AKIJ House in Dhaka’s Tejgaon, according to a press release.
Addressing the occasion, he said that the 'nextjobz' will not be just a job site; it will become a complete career solution, opening new horizons in the future development of the country's human resources.
This platform also will take various activities to develop the skills of job seekers so that they can easily get their desired job, Mr Jasim said.
Shoeb Hassan, chief business officer at AKIJ Resource, said that in addition to searching for jobs and advertising for jobs, real information about jobs and studies abroad will be available on this portal.
Through this portal, he said, job seekers will be able to apply for mentorship from skilled and experienced professionals in the country to develop their skills.
Information about all job and education-related events in Bangladesh will also be available on this career portal, Mr Shoeb added.
Mohammad Toufiq Hasan, chief business development officer at AKIJ Resource, Mohammed Afsar Uddin, Chief People Officer, Jayed Bin Rashid, CEO of AKIJ iBOS, among others, were present.
