Al-Arafah Islami Bank distributes agricultural investment in Chuadanga

Al-Arafah Islami Bank’s Chuadanga Branch organised a public agricultural investment distribution programme at Alukdia in Chuadanga Sadar.
Managing Director (Acting) Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan distributed agricultural investments worth a total of Tk 25.3 million among 201 farmers at a ceremony held on Sunday (November 30, 2025), according to a press release.
Managing Director (Acting) of the Bank Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan was present at the event as chief guest at the program organised on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
In his speech as Chief Guest, Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan said, Agriculture is the lifeblood of Bangladesh’s economy. To make financial support and investment services more accessible to farmers, Al-Arafah Islami Bank has undertaken various initiatives.
Our agricultural investment programs are designed to ensure that farmers receive the required financial assistance on time, helping them increase production.
To build a sustainable rural economy, the bank will continue to expand its investment in the agricultural sector and promote the advancement of modern, technology-driven farming systems.
Deputy Managing Director S. M. Abu Zafar, Executive Vice President A. K. M. Amjad Hossain, Senior Vice President Solaiman Al Razi, Senior Assistant Vice President Sheikh Asadul Haque, Deputy Director of Chuadanga Agricultural Extension Department Md. Masudur Rahman Sarkar, Headmaster (Acting) of Chuadanga Victoria Jubilee Government High School Md. Jasmine Ara Khatun were present as a special guest.
The program was presided over by Md. Shariful Islam, Manager of the bank’s Chuadanga Branch.
Speakers at the event highlighted various aspects of agricultural development, modern farming methods, and Shariah-based banking facilities.
At the end of the programme, the invited guests handed over investment documents to the farmers.
