Al Arafah Islami Bank opens 221st branch at Sirajganj

Al-Arafah Islami Bank (AIB) PLC has opened its 221st branch at Sirajganj Sadar on Tuesday, 20 August.

Director of the Bank Alhajj Md Anowar Hossain inaugurated the new branch as Chief Guest, according to a media release. 

Vice Chairman of the Bank Alhajj Abu Naser Md Yeahea spoke as special guest.

Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Farman R Chowdhury presided over the ceremony.

The bank’s Additional Managing Director Shabbir Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director Abdullah Al Mamun, Md Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan, Md Aminul Islam Bhuiyan, and other Senior officials were present at the event.

Prominent social workers Alhajj Abdul Qader, Saidur Rahman Bacchu, Maulana Mohammad Sahinur Alam, Alhajj Nur Haider Sarker, and Departmental head of Islamic Studies of Sirajganj Government College Md Habibullah Siddiqui addressed the opening ceremony.

Senior Executive Vice President of the bank Engr Md Habib Ullah conducted the programme, the release says. 

A large number of local people and well-wishers were present at the inauguration ceremony. Bogura Zonal Head Executive Vice President ANM Mufidul Islam thanked the audience.

Chief guest Alhajj Md Anowar Hossain said AIB PLC was founded with the motto to serve the people and spread Islamic Finance throughout society.

Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Farman R Chowdhury explained various statistics of the bank and he ensured best services for clients, the release adds.
