Al-Arafah Islami Bank opens training program on leadership and communication skills

A two-day training course on ‘Connect, Influence, Grow: Leadership, Communication and Interpersonal Excellence’ has begun at the Bank’s Training Institute, according to a press release.

Managing Director and CEO of the bank Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan inaugurated the training workshop as the chief guest on Sunday.

In his speech as the chief guest, Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan highlighted the importance of leadership skills, effective communication, and the development of interpersonal relationships in the banking sector. He urged the participants to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired in their respective workplaces to enhance customer service standards, strengthen teamwork, and overall image of the bank. He further stated that the skills and mindset they are cultivating today will play a significant role not only in the advancement of the banking sector but also in shaping their own professional careers in the future.

The training workshop was presided over by the Senior Executive Vice President & Principal of Al-ArafahIslami Bank Training Institute (AIBTI) Md. Abdur Rahim Duary.Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Zia’s Language Center, Canada,Khondaker Zia Hasan was present as the resource person. Senior Vice President of the Bank TouhidSiddique, Senior Assistant Vice President S. M. ZulkarNayen, and Assistant Vice President Md Farhad UlAlam were also present at the workshop.

A total of 31 employees of the Bank are participating in the program. The two-day training focuses on leadership development, communication skills enhancement, interpersonal relationship building, and confidence and influence techniques, aimed at improving workplace performance and customer service.
