Al-Arafah Islami Bank signs agreement with Famous Specialized Hospital

Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, country’s one of the leading Shariah-based banks, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Famous Specialized Hospital and Famous Specialized Hospital Trauma Center.

Under this agreement, the use of the bank’s modern network will increase the efficiency of the hospital’s bill collection and financial management, according to a press release.

Besides, all officers, employees, and cardholders of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC will enjoy exclusive benefits and discounts at the hospital.

On Wednesday, 14 January, 2026 Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Md. Abdullah Al Mamun and Hospital Chief Executive Officer Md. Amanullah Aman signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at the Bank’s Head Office.

Senior Assistant Vice President Md. Amdadul Haque, Bacchu Sheikh, Assistant Vice President Abu Kawser, Senior Principal Officer Nazmul Hossain, Principal Officer Ashfaqur Rahman and Hospital Trauma Center Managing Director Md. Yunus, Executive Director Farhana Sharmin Jeba and senior officials from both institutions were present at the signing ceremony.

This agreement will further expand the use of modern and innovative banking technology and open up new horizons for safe, reliable, and effective financial management for corporate customers in the healthcare sector.
