Al-Arafah Islami Bank signs deal with Seamax Ltd

Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, the country’s one of the leading Shariah-based banks, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Seamax Limited, according to a press release.

Under this agreement, both organisations will jointly contribute to the agricultural and rural development of the country by providing overall support to farmers in the production and marketing of crops.

The bank's Deputy Managing Director, S.M. Abu Jafar and the Chairman of Seamax Limited, Hiron Nahar, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at a ceremony held at the bank's head office on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

Director of SeamxLimited Shamsul Alam,Senior Vice President and SME Business Head of the bank Monirul Islam,Vice President and Head of Al-Arafah Rural Development Program Mahmmud Riyad, Senior Assistant Vice President M. M. Rafiqul Islam, along with senior officials of both organizations were present at the signing ceremony.
