Al-Arafah Islami Bank's Agrabad branch recovers 1 billion of classified investment

The Agrabad Branch of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC has recovered 1 billion (100 crores) of its classified investment.

A performance appraisal titled “Celebrating the Recovery Performance” was organized at the Agrabad Branch on Sunday, November 3, 2024, according to a media release. 

Chairman of the bank Khwaja Shahriar was present as chief guest on the occasion.

Presided over by Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Farman R Chowdhury, Directors Md. Shahin Ul Islam, Md. Abdul Wadud, Professor Dr. Mohammed Abu Eusuf and Mohammad Asraful Hassan FCA were present in the program as special guests.

Deputy Managing Director of the Bank and Mentor of Chittagong Zone Md. Fazlur Rahman Chowdhury, Senior Executive Vice President and Chittagong Zonal Head Mohammad Azam, Agrabad Branch Manager Md Shoaib Islam Chowdhury and senior officials of the bank were present on the occasion.
