The American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) organised a CSR and Sustainability event on Thursday at the AmCham Bangladesh Office, with the tagline “AmCham’s Solidarity with Flood-Affected Families.”
Showing solidarity with the flood-affected families, AmCham has initiated a Post-flood Rehabilitation Support programme in collaboration with the Sajida Foundation. During the event, Mr Syed Ershad Ahmed, President of AmCham, handed over a check and other contributions to Ms Zahida Fizza Kabir, CEO of the Sajida Foundation.
Notable attendees included Mr Abu Muhammad Rashed Mujib Noman, Managing Director of Augmedix BD Limited and AmCham Executive Committee Member; Mr Al Mamun M Rashel, Treasurer of AmCham and Country Manager of NATCO Bangladesh; Mr Mirza Shajib Raihan, AmCham Executive Committee Member and Business Leader at Becton Dickinson Bangladesh; Mr Habib Bhuiyan, Country Manager of Excelerate Energy Bangladesh Limited; MD Fazlul Hoque, Senior Advisor to the Sajida Foundation; and Mr Md Shahadat Hossen, Executive Director of AmCham.
Among AmCham members, 3s Agro Services Limited, American & Efird (Bangladesh), Augmedix BD Limited, Chevron Bangladesh, Excelerate Energy Bangladesh Limited, Folia Bangladesh Limited, FV Bangladesh, and NATCO Bangladesh supported this AmCham initiative. Furthermore, American & Efird (Bangladesh), American Life Insurance Company (MetLife), Augmedix BD Limited, Coca-Cola Bangladesh Limited, Chevron Bangladesh, Citibank N.A., Bangladesh, Excelerate Energy Bangladesh Limited, NATCO Bangladesh, MasterCard, and many other AmCham members individually contributed from their respective companies to stand beside the flood-affected people during the challenging time.
